As humans distance themselves from their capricious gods and rebel against them, the gods seek to destroy humans. Perseus (Sam Worthington) , the demi-God love child of Zeus (Liam Neeson), is far more interesting of a character in this modern film. He moves the plot along as a willful, fearless and assertive young man. In order to save the city of Argos and Princess Andomeda, Perseus must defeat Hades (Ralph Fiennes) and his evil son Kraken. The glue: Perseus insists on doing it on his own terms, as a man, not as a god. |

Rave: Clash of the Titans (2010)
I might get blasted on this one but this remake of the 1981 movie (by the same name) was a welcome enjoyment. As a teenager obsessed with Greek Mythology, Clash of The Titans had a major impact on me. Tonight, as an adult, I rather enjoyed director Louis Leterrier's modern spin of this old-fashioned flick.
That being said, the plot was not original, the acting was quite shallow and the special effects was nothing outstanding. I enjoyed this movie simply because I went in expecting nothing more than to be entertained. On that level, the movie delivers.
