Rave: Inception (2010)

It would be blasphemous to say that Leonardo DiCaprio delivered another outstanding and enduring performance in Inception. The entire cast deserves standing ovation for their acting performances: Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Ellen Page, Tom Hardy, Ken Watanabe, Marion Cotillard, Dileep Rao.

Seems like Christopher Nolan rounded the very best multi-ethnic talents to represent this truly visionary film. He used the same mind-blowing special effects that made The Matrix iconic. In special effects, acting, directing and writing, this project shines.

Inception is not just a film about stealing into people's dreams and subconsciously altering their minds. It's a movie about a thief in search of redemption after his synaptic engineering leads his wife to lose grip on reality. How can we tell dream from reality? This film answers that question quite well, reality is easily known. We can create worlds in our minds to the extent that we lose grasp on reality. There are people who get lost in dreams and people who willingly choose dreams over reality.

My only beef with this movie is that it parallels too closely with Shutter Island, another masterpiece. If you've seen DiCaprio in Shutter Island, you can easily predict the ending of Inception.

All in all, this is a futuresque movie that people will remember for years to come.
