Rant: The Rebound (2009)

I didn't intend to see this movie but I was on an 11-hour plane ride to Germany.  In fact, I had never even heard of this movie.  So, I'll just cut to the chase... Someone snorted on expensive paper and Catherine Zeta Jones should be banned from making movies!

In this blander version of  Prime (2005 movie starring Uma Thurman), Sandy, a single mother of two moves to New York City after learning of her husband's infidelity.  She is woed by a naively young Jewish man, Aram.

The rest is a transparent cougar plot without the slightest chemistry that should have been burned after reading but wasn't. Seriously!

Here I am breaking my backbone to write compelling scripts that I hope will get on the big screen and here is someone who got a free pass. Cheers to bad script and poor acting.
